The Alpinestars Tech Air 3 Canvas Airbag System has been designed to be worn over or under a motorcycle jacket. It provides effective and practical protection for V-twin drivers, touring riders, commuters and weekend riders who want to be safe on the go. The advanced crash detection trigger algorithm is based on millions of kilometres of driving data and thousands of accidents, which allows the system to accurately detect when the airbag needs to be activated in the event of an impact or dangerous situations such as a lowside or highside fall. Once Tech-Air 3 registers an accident, the airbag inflates within milliseconds and reduces transmitted impact energy by up to 95% in protected areas, including chest and back. In the event of a direct impact on another vehicle or obstacle, the system unfolds before contact to optimally protect the driver. The main material made of flexible nylon canvas as well as the waterproof ECU and electronics make the slim, standalone system versatile. It can be worn under any Alpinestars Tech-Air Ready jacket or other leather and textile jackets, provided there is enough space for airbag deployment.

• The Tech-Air 3 Canvas System is a fully autonomous active airbag system and requires no external connections or sensors on the motorcycle for the system to work
• The Tech-Air 3 Canvas integrates 6 built-in sensors (3 accelerometers (1 three-axis accelerometer) and 3 gyroscopes (1 three-axis gyroscope) to provide the best monitoring performance in accidents in a variety of dynamic driving situations, even at a standstill
• The Tech-Air 3 Canvas Airbag System uses an accident detection algorithm that uses AI to accurately monitor when the airbag should be triggered in the event of an accident, allowing the airbag to provide active protection in road scenarios and various driving conditions, even at standstill
• The Tech-Air 3 Canvas Airbag System automatically activates via the magnetic zipper
• The packable design of the system allows it to be easily stored in a backpack, saddle bag, top case or suitcase when not in use.
• The design of the Tech Air Canvas system includes additional features, including a built-in sunglasses pocket on the right chest, a waist loop to which you can attach driving gloves, elastic side panels for comfort that provide expansion volume to allow airbag inflation, and a practical option to easily fold and attach the airbag bladder

• An LED display, partially hidden in the left chest pocket, shows the operating status of the airbag. The bag has a reflective interior back for optimized LED visibility and also includes a tactile alarm that vibrates to confirm the system is activated, as well as alerts the driver when the battery is low
• Tech-Air 3 Canvas integrates Alpinestars' Pro Second Generation compact electronic control unit (ECU) located in the ECU pocket in the upper back of the Tech-Air 3 canvas vest
• Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0) connectivity to the Tech-Air app allows riders to monitor the operating status of the system, battery status and provides a detailed map of motorcycle rides via MyRide
• Updatable system software is accessible via the Tech-Air app, where drivers can quickly check the installed software version and easily perform the latest software updates
• The gas inflator that provides the inflation gas for triggering the airbag is located in the inflator housing on the left side of the lower back.
• Can be hand washed at 30°C.
